Check unshaded cell connection in Kurodoko

Currently, Kurodoko has an option for checking shaded cells for diagonal connection, which seems pointless since the rules don't put any constraint on that. Instead, the rules specify that the unshaded cells form an orthogonally connected area, so an option to check unshaded cell connection (orthogonal) would make sense.

Checking shaded cells is intended to spot connectivity problems before they happen. You know to unshade a cell that would form a loop of shaded cells, or form a shape that connects to the grid edge 2 times.
