ftp param download over "slow" telemetry fails #66

I'm getting
FTP not available, falling back to traditional parameter download
Even when connecting directly on telemetry serial device. It happens only with telemetry, on USB it works fine.
Despite on MissionPlanner it load params over ftp normally, same setup. Of course it's slower than on USB.
signing is enabled, not sure if it has any thing to affect this too, but I do not think so.
