No, mold can't link kernels in general, and supporting PE is out of the scope of the project. |

The point is, that mold currently only supports the ELF format. If it would support the MZ-PE format, it could also be linking for Windows.
But UEFI is - in contrast to the classic BIOS - in the Windows MZ-PE format. So the kernels started by UEFI - like the Linux-kernel in /boot/vmlinuz - are in MZ-PE format, too.
So does it as result mean, that mold can not link any of that kernels (including the Linux-kernel) ?
