This may in fact be an issue with VS Code, if so, let me know and I'll submit an issue to them.

This is what I'm experiencing... as you can see pretty much impossible to see what I'm typing:

The inlay hints rapidly despawn and then respawn every time a new character is added, shifting the whole formatting around as they do so...

This seems like a recent issue, I hadn't really noticed it this bad until today
