Use of deprecated function

When I define('WP_DEBUG', true); in wp-config.php, following warning is generated
Notice: WP_User->id was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 2.1! Use WP_User->ID instead. in /home/$$/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3495

Thanks @Polfo. Hmm. Next weekend is the first chance I'll have to look into this. I'll see if I can reproduce that warning and find what's causing it if you don't figure it out before then.

my guess is that on line 57 they want ->id to be ->ID

if you can you edit your install and test that change that'd be awesome

do either of you know how far back support for ->ID goes?

like should the update here accommodate both ID and id for backward support or has ID always worked?
