Is there are version of this publicly available?

IIRC the display requires us to use PSRAM, as otherwise RAM is not big enough for keeping the PS1 card image while also rendering the GUI...

Not sure to be honest, I have been messing with it and managed to get 2 variants:

FATAL ERROR psram failed test

Removing reference to psram, I get the below..

FATAL ERROR failed to mount the card sderror: 0x01,0x00 check the card

Yeah, I guess the Zero board does not have PSRAM on it 😃
The second error means, the defines for the SD pins are wrong. You can check them in the variants file - you need to select the pmczero variant as a start.

Pins are definitely defined correctly but still get the error re. SD card.
Not sure what else to try, I have tried forcing the pmczero build

Does anyone have a precompiled uf2 for a RP2040 Zero?

I can only add once more: if you try to use PMCZero with OLED, this will probably not work, since there is not enough RAM on the Pico to keep both the display as well as the Card Image alive without psram.
You can try to check the variant definition in

firmware/misc/variants.cmake

and change GUI to ON. Then you still need to define the OLED pins in

firmware/src/config.h
