Mode being switched to "Quiet" on its own

I have noticed a couple times when opening the program that the mode is set to "Quiet" when it should be set to "Default" as I have defined.
Does anyone know what might be the cause?
I'm running Kubuntu 25.10

@Lu9-ST on line 531 in "main.py" uncomment # print("predatorModeValue: " + str(self.predatorMode)) and see what is being printed out as the app boots up and we can try and track from there

note that sometimes it is still set to default (1), and i do not know when exactly the switch to Quiet (0) occurs, or what triggers it.

Funnily enough I've noticed the same on my system recently now that you've mentioned it. I always had it set to "Default" and now i see "Quiet" mode enabled which i did not select. Wondering if it has something to do with Ubuntu updates + sleep/resume messing with the states.

I take my last comment back. Im not seeing the mode automatically change to Quiet. @Lu9-ST can you confirm this is still happening on your end?

it still is, but again, not sure what would be causing it or when, as sometimes it doesn't, seems random.

hmmm yeah i just checked again - mines is still on Default. Your best option would be uncomment line 531 in main.py
# print("predatorModeValue: " + str(self.predatorMode))

and see if you can figure out when its being triggered. Maybe its related to something happening at the same time on your machine.
