Describe the bug
If you open any existing tree node the save button is red and there is an error on the rank field that says "Please select an item in the list" even though rank is correct. This also happens after the initial save if you create a new node.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Select any tree
2. Select any node that is not the root node
3. Press edit
4. See save button is red
5. Press it
6. See error

Expected behavior
There should be no error
