This is the initial release of the Steam Achievement Manager rewrite. As the project is still a work-in-progress you may encounter issues.

Setup

1. Download SAM.zip
2. Extract all files
3. Run SAM.exe to start the application

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, please report them using the Issues page here on GitHub.

Log files are automatically created in the \logs subdirectory wherever you are running SAM from. For example, if you are running the application from C:\Users\USERNAME\Downloads\SAM\ the log files will be in C:\Users\USERNAME\Downloads\SAM\logs. The logs directory contains two files:

• errors.txt
  • Contains only ERROR or higher severity log messages
• log.txt
  • Contains all log messages

Currently the same log file will include messages for both SAM.exe as well as SAM.Manager.exe (though this may change in the future).
