Do you remember? A couple of years ago I forked the NetBox DNS project from Aurora Research Lab after their organisation became silent (we never knew what happened until today).
I am well aware that as a one-man-show I am susceptible to the same kind of mishap, so I decided to move NetBox DNS under the organisational roof of sys4 AG in Munich. I have been cooperating with the other colleagues at sys4 for a while now, and feel that our values and our view on open source, software in general and quality are congruent to a very high degree.
I don't expect much changes for the project as a consequence of this move. I will remain the maintainer of NetBox DNS (as well as of the new NetBox DHCP plugin that was published under the same roof today), and I will probably remain the main contributor for the forseeable future, although it's a goal to add some additional resources over time to make the workforce scale better.
Contributors will need to adjust their git remote URLs after the migration, though, which is an almost trivial step.
I am planning the move for the end of February to give everyone the opportunity to read this announcement so nobody is too surprised when the repository suddenly vanishes.
