Implement Try-Catch-Finally-Throw

Think of a way to try catch finally throw.

• We should declare a global exception object that has the following fields:

  • int status (initialized to 0)
  • string message (initialized to "")
  • Legacy_List fileList (nodes that their data point to a string)
  • Legacy_List lineList (nodes that their data point to a string)

• each function must include in its first line:

  if (globalExceptionObject->status != 0) {
  	globalExceptionObject->fileList->add(globalExceptionObject->fileList,  __FILE__ );
  	globalExceptionObject->lineList->add(globalExceptionObject->lineList, __LINE__);
  }

• where the function that wants to throw the error should be set like so:

  globalExceptionObject->status = -1; // Example for an error status code.
  globalExceptionObject->message = "Null pointer exception"; // Example for an error message.
  
  if (globalExceptionObject->status != 0) {
  	globalExceptionObject->fileList->add(globalExceptionObject->fileList,  __FILE__ );
  	globalExceptionObject->lineList->add(globalExceptionObject->lineList, __LINE__);
  }

• and AFTER THE MAIN:

  if (globalExceptionObject->status != 0) {
  	globalExceptionObject.toString();
  }

  where that toString() prints:

  • status
  • message
  • fileList and lineList (together like)

For reference, you can see how .bat files handle errors.
They use the %ERRORLEVEL% global variable to set their errors,
and each calling-function must check its status before invoking its logics.
and in case the %ERRORLEVEL% is not 0, then that calling-function knows that it should return that error status to its own calling-function. and so on... until it comes to the "main" script, and there it quits with that error.
