Questions regarding the Alpha-AXP port

Hey there, I stumbled on your project through a youtube video I saw recently. Until I visited your github I had no idea that there was an Alpha-AXP port!

I have some Alpha experience and have run both Windows NT 4.0 and the 2000 RC on various Alpha equipment, like the XP1000, Multia, and AlphaStation 200.

All of these systems use a PCI or PCI-X bus... there is no PCIe to be found, and certainly no nvme interfaces.

I'm curious how one would realistically use any nvme drives on any Alpha systems?

Does one have to use some sort of convoluted NVME -> PCIe -> PCI adapter chain? If this even did work it would limit transfers to what, the PCI bus, so like 133MB/s?

Have you actually tested this on an Alpha system with any success?

2000 RC on various Alpha equipment, like the XP1000

You need to use a PCI/PCI-X to PCIe bridge, ideally a startech pcix1pex4 (https://www.startech.com/en-gb/cards-adapters/pcix1pex4?srsltid=AfmBOopL5k-i-zTvXcSxsXvR9AWeV1BIfPdKSpS--a2oDAWB1ebU9vDe) if you can find one, I would like one, but thus far have not found one.

Below you can see I have a PLX PEX 8112 x1 Lane PCI to PCIe Bridge which runs @ 66 MHz.

I have never tested my SIV utility (http://rh-software.com/) on a XP1000, please will you try SIV32A.exe on Windows 2000 and send me the two Menu->File->Save files so I can see how it does and fix any issues,
