How can I fake /proc/net/dev ?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to fake /proc/net/dev, so I modified my proot-distro, but bindings faking entries in the /proc/net/ doesn't seem to work. When I try cat /proc/net/dev, it still says "Permission denied".
