Hello Team,
First of all, I would like to thank you a lot for this great application. You did a really great job.
At the moment, we are evaluating Looking Glass applications to migrate from the no longer supported ULG project. Your solution appears to be the most suitable option for our needs, and it is likely that we will continue using it. However, we believe there is always room for further improvement.
The View AS Path chart is great, but it looks a bit weird when there are many duplicated ASNs in the paths, which are actually always have duplicates as the origin ASn is almost always the same for all paths ;) Is there a way to remove duplicated ASN nodes and use multiple connections instead to interconnect the paths that include the same ASNs?
I hope the screenshots below will clarify what I mean.
The above screenshot shows the AS Path diagram from the interface of Hyperglas, and there are a lot of duplicated ASN nodes, that present in many paths to the destination ASN.
While this diagram shows the same paths to the same destination, but generated by our current Looking Glass application ULG.
As you see, the second picture provides a clearer overview. Besides, it shows the best selected path - the red one.
I hope I was clear in my feature/improvement request. I would like to hear your opinion on this. Thank you in advance.
