Merge in refactor of database

We still need to merge in the refactored code from GSOC 2025. We still, however, need to finish converting all of the actual datasets. @gabrielasd @marco-2023 would you have time to help me with this? #159 #160 #161 It's really easy to follow what @enjyashraf18 has done for the other datasets.

@msricher Can you please give us an update on the PRs that need to be merged, I want to add a new set of atomic properties to elements_data.csv and I would rather do that to the updated files

I don't have any updates right now, it's just PRs #159, #160, #161. I don't have all of the data to do it. I'm not sure what will happen here anymore.
