Port opening

I have a quite simple question. I have been messing around RtMidi a lot and I am afraid of syncing issues. I often have to close/open port and right now I simply created a class that keep watching port names and port numbers to keep them synched together.
It's really unlikely to happen, but has I opened the port, if the ports change at the moment I get the right port number, I will bind my data to the wrong port having the old portname set as blocked but having the second one opened. (It never happened to me yet, but it seems tehoricly possible)
I was wondering if it was possible to open ports according to port name instead of port number as they are a lot more reliable. (I don't think any exploitation system permit having 2 ports with the same name)

hey, hI have this problem too @iankiller77 . Did you updated RtMidi in some way to get possible te selection by name? I am using 3.0.0 version and maybe i shoudl try the current up to date repo... But i don't know if is stable...

@moebiussurfing there is an open proposal for this but it hasn't been integrated as it's quite a big API change (not just addressing ports by name, but adding several classes to help with it)

Actually #30 has nothing to do with opening by name. It is meant to allow to open port by whatever the API thinks is reliable, which is not necessarily the port name.
