Expecting AMQP method, received frame type: 3

When I run a consumer and process some messages the next fails and goes to the queue again so it fails again when I start the consumer

I'm having the same problem. Consuming one message works, but if there are multiple on the queue it fails after acknowledging the first

This repo is slightly borked since it's moved. But I fixed this in a fork of newer repo.. see here:

php-amqplib/php-amqplib#2

I didn't have time to look for the error and we move our consumers to
java...

Now we can use it php again ;-)

I tried applying this patch, and am still experiencing the issue.

@mkeasling can you post your debug output and describe what your queue looks like when you're running the consumer? I noticed i was only getting the problem if there were >1 messages on the queue when i started the consumer. If the queue was empty or had 1 message then the error wouldn't show up.

I'm sorry; I finally figured it out. Apparently, my bcmath functions weren't working properly. Once I corrected that, this patch fixed the problem. Thanks!

I use a fork with the patch as a dep in the project
