Currently, we have no documentation that, when followed, allows someone to fire up a node on a fresh install of Ubuntu (this should be our litmus test). Node documentation should not be considered valid or complete until that is the case. I understand that we are migrating to a new version, but there are some rather deep bugs with the install scripts, such as in the pull request I just submitted - #941 - that would have prevented any version whatsoever from working.

Additionally, we need to be sure the Node Operator Guide on the site is also updated before we consider the associated goal closed. At the moment it also fails on the first step because the available binaries (formerly kwil-admin) do not exist as expected in the docs.

Right now we have no public documentation that would allow someone to come and run a node today. It is critical that doesn't remain the case.

This is not completed. The pull request was not an update of the documentation. It was a fix to broken scripts that made the documentation irrelevant. The measure of completion is in #934 (comment)

@MicBun @outerlook lets make sure we don't reopen problems that are bugs. Outdated documentation is a bug for consumers and could be the reason we are losing one if not paying attention. Appreciate it 🙏
