Volume slider doesnt seem to work

First, great mod, I use it all the time, thank you.
The volume slider changes the position on the desktop client but the volume itself doesnt seem to change unless directly changed on the desktop client.
Also I have to disable and re-enable the plugin a lot, mostly on a fresh launch.
