Main page resets whenever dropdown boxes are used

When you are looking at any date or time other than the current date/time, if you change either of the dropdown menus (location, type of room) it will reset the selection to the current date/time. This is really annoying for students who are trying to book a room for the future and need to change their filters during the process.
