WiFi Direct File Transfer Not Working

When trying to share a resource via WiFi direct, I get as far as connecting two devices but then when I select "send version" nothing happens. Both devices are Android 5.

This seems to be working inconsistently. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a good plug and play library for WiFi-Direct on android. I'm going to try an different library and see if it's more reliable, otherwise I'll try and at least give better indicators of the status.

No better luck here. Same issue as OP.

Sharing is generally working a bit better now which has improved this issues some, but it's still inconsistent. There are a few things I'm going to try and re-work, but I'm not sure of an eta on noticeable improvements.
