In general, it seems to be that a PURE would likely be tied to a specific version because it will also have a specified wireline format, etc.

Were you thinking that the PURE would be updated or that a new one would be submitted, etc.? I'm not sure how an author of a PURE would handle how wireline formats, etc. would be represented for future,
