Unity Editor stays in the mode built as last #5

Your Editor is configured to plattform Linux Standalone. Then UMultiTargetBuilder builds different platforms. When starting Unity again after that, it still is configured to the last build jobs platform.

That is extremely annoying because you always have to check. If you don't, you are faced with a lot of different, unexpected errors and it is hard to figure out why.
