Guide for Dropdown Elements - code in example does not match page

I opened a browser page to the page given in the example: 'http://watir.com/examples/simple_form.html'. The example in the code does not work with the contents of the page.  For example there is no drop down selection with id='languages'.  Or, a dropdown with id='country'
