General question on how much need to spend on API call

Thanks for the great work. I am just curious about how much we need to spend on calling APIs when doing AI Agent research (say reproducing a set of the results shown in the paper). I would greatly appreciate any rough estimates you could share to help me better understand the resource requirements.
