Filter for loop iteration output?

During a for loop if an iteration would not return output is it possible to filter it out before the aggregation step?

I'm just wondering from writing a flow I've defaulted to passing on an empty string when I'd rather it not have an element at all propagated.

It seems like I'd need to have an action after the loop that would iterate over the loop's aggregation and filter out empty strings before continuing?

Could you filter it out with a JavaScript expression in input of the step immediately after the loop?

That's not quite what I mean. Say for example an item in the for loop that's propagated results in it being "filtered out" by a script in the for loop.

I was wondering if it was possible to not have to propagate an element at all.

So the collecting step of the flow would just collect to an empty array instead of me having to filter the empty strings out of the aggregation.
