how to build sp_metadata.xml?

I have forked your repo. and ported to odoo9, I have no idea how to build sp_metadata file.
have found entityID="http://localhost:8069/metadata" in demo sp_metadata file, but have not define the URI in controller.

any advice should be thankful.

About the setup, there is a doc on https://github.com/xcgd/auth_saml/blob/master/documentation/index.rst though I haven't personally tried it / verified its accuracy. Looks pretty good at first sight.

Hey @jeffery9, what is the status of your Odoo 9 port? Would be good to merge that back into xcgd/auth_saml if it is working.

We have done some dev on https://bitbucket.org/xcg/auth_saml/commits/all, and especially fixed a login problem in the Odoo 8 branch. I'm guessing you will want to merge with these.

(Got issues with the hggit extension we used in the past to sync the bitbucket repo with the github one.)

Is that a fork of your current saml solution?

I'm also wondering how hard is the migration from the lasso dependence to python-saml or python3-saml. Never worked with lasso, but if you review those toolkits you will see how easy are them to install/configure. Big projects as edx using it.

I have pushed your view tweaks to https://bitbucket.org/xcg/auth_saml/commits/7f64d36007ad20bf6b29762dd5fe7c871c62f610 (not on github yet; got issues with the hg->git converter).

I also got the CSRF error, which was easy to fix by adding csrf=False as you did.

However, I then get an error when doing an actual SAML login:

So this needs some more investigation, but we are on the right track! =)

My bad, I simply forgot to link my test user to the SAML provider when testing... So after disabling CSRF checks, this does work!
