File edit mistakes bytes for kilobytes in normal-app mode

When run as normal app, and trying to edit short text file, I get an error message that file's size is 1371KB and editor can handle up to 256KB. It's kinda like that, except that file size is 1371 _bytes_.

Editing works ok in system launcher mode.
