Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues and added correct labels.

Description

Current Behavior

Whenever a Task Status is created in Kitsu and the project is synced with Kitsu sync, the status entry in project_entity["statuses"] (Project Anatomy > Statuses) doesn't have a color set (it shows as white, while it's different in Kitsu).

This causes the Loader in DCCs and the Ayon (tray) Browser to not show any of the published products.

Expected Behavior

The Statuses entry shouldn't influence the visibility of the published products. The published products should show in Loader and Ayon Browser.

Steps To Reproduce:

Using Kitsu sync and Ayon.
In Kitsu, define a new Task Status. Then in production-settings > Task Status add the newly created Task Status.
Set any of the shots or assets to have that status.

Additional context:

Version

Ayon server version 1.7.4+202503200941
Ayon Core version 1.1.7
Ayon Kitsu version 1.2.5

What platform were you running when you found the bug?

Windows

Workaround

There is a workaround.
Go to AYON web frontend > Project Anatomy (A+A) > statuses, change the color slightly on that status, save. Then it was fixed.
