Quak Travel – Software Engineer
- Helped design booking, split-payments, and trip planning features with Express + Prisma + TS.
- Rolling out a frontend redesign with React + Tailwind + Material UI.
- Redis caching boosted hotel search speed by ~80%.
- A demo of our app and website helped land $30K in funding, giving us room to grow the team and bring in new technologies.
Rainfall Learning – Tech Lead 🌧️ (Jun 2025 → Now)
- Keeping 20+ devs/designers organized across curriculum, scheduling, and platform work.
- Leading a 4-person sub-team to wire up Stripe payments (onboarding + financial analytics).
- Building APIs to track transactions & tutor earnings.
Teaching Assistant – Discrete Structures @ Northeastern 📈 (Aug 2025 → Now)
- Working with 500+ students on graph theory, proofs, combinatorics, and logic.
- Running weekly recitations (~30 students each), hosting office hours, and giving assignment feedback.
NER (Northeastern Electric Racing) – Software Engineer 🏎️ (Jan 2025 → Now)
- Built React + Material UI components for our FinishLine rules tracker → better ticket visibility.
- Adding backend routes/hooks in Express + Prisma for a rules (pdf) parsing system.
- CoDesign 🤝: Social platform built with React + Tailwind (posts, messaging, matchmaking). Demoed at Northeastern’s Oasis Day to 100+ people.
- RoadQuest 🗺️: HackBeanpot project → real-time quest generator + auth + leaderboards in React.
- FinishLine (NER) 🏁: Ticket & compliance system with parts overview + notification features. Now creating a pdf parsing system for racing members to better understanding competition standards.
- MacroManage 🍲 (Upcoming): AI-powered meal planning tool that scrapes nutrition data and prices to suggest balanced, customizable diets, and buyable diets.
- Noteification 📚 (Upcoming): A study planner app that helps organize notes, tasks, and deadlines into one streamlined workspace.
