A security monitoring dashboard for smart contracts and blockchain networks. Think of it as your early warning system for on-chain threats.
ChainGuardian helps you keep an eye on smart contract activity in real-time. Whether you're a developer, security researcher, or managing a DeFi protocol, this tool gives you visibility into what's happening with your contracts before things go sideways.
The platform monitors transaction patterns, flags suspicious behavior, and gives you a centralized place to track everything that matters.
Smart contracts are immutable once deployed. That's great for trustlessness, but terrible when vulnerabilities get exploited. We've seen too many projects lose funds to flash loan attacks, reentrancy exploits, and other on-chain nastiness that could've been caught earlier.
ChainGuardian bridges that gap. It won't prevent every attack, but it gives you the observability you need to respond quickly when something looks off.
Monitoring: Tracks smart contract interactions as they happen. You'll see function calls, state changes, and transaction flows in a digestible format.
Anomaly detection: Identifies patterns that deviate from normal behavior—rapid withdrawals, unusual gas usage, interactions from blacklisted addresses, that sort of thing.
Analytics: Visualizes contract activity over time. Helps you understand usage patterns and spot trends before they become problems.
Alerts: (Planned) Push notifications when suspicious activity is detected, so you don't have to stare at the dashboard 24/7.
We built this with Next.js because we needed something fast, SEO-friendly, and easy to iterate on. Tailwind keeps the styling consistent without bloat. Firebase handles hosting and will eventually power the real-time backend features.
For the Web3 side, we're using standard tools like ethers.js to interact with blockchain networks. Nothing fancy, just reliable libraries that get the job done.

You'll need to set up environment variables for Web3 connectivity. Create a .env.local file:
