Try_Fish is a cybersecurity project designed to teach the fundamentals of phishing, social engineering, and—most importantly—how to protect yourself against these attacks.
The goal is to raise awareness about common techniques used by attackers and demonstrate how easy it is to fall into a trap... unless you're prepared.
- How phishing emails are crafted
- How fake websites are designed to mimic legitimate ones
- Common psychological tricks used in social engineering
- Best practices to avoid being a victim
This project is divided into three parts:
-
📧 The Phishing Email
A realistic example of a phishing email designed to trick the recipient into clicking a malicious link or revealing sensitive information. -
🌐 The Fake Website
A clone of a legitimate website (like a login page) that captures user credentials for demonstration purposes. -
🛡️ How to Stay Safe
A guide explaining:- How to spot phishing attempts
- What red flags to look for
- Tools and habits to protect yourself online
This project is educational only.
Do not use any part of this project for malicious purposes.
All demonstrations are done in a controlled environment.
