Cultural Data Sculpting (eM+ lab at EPFL)

The code in this repository was made to build a timeline visualization of Giorgio Vasari's "Lives of the Most Excellent Painters, Sculptors, and Architects (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lives_of_the_Most_Excellent_Painters,_Sculptors,_and_Architects).

The visualisation was my final project for the Cultural Data Sculpting course, given by Sarah Kenderdine, eM+ / experimental Museology lab at EPFL (https://www.epfl.ch/labs/emplus/) in 2021 and is available under the following link: https://cables.gl/p/uLiDbC .

The visualization is still a prototype with errors such as double entries, and important features such as artwork metadata and touchscreen optimization are missing. Work in progress.
