Couldn't you just trigger the existing update checker?

Yes, though It avoids some overhead by having a stripped down version of it that updates a single branch without first checking versions yet again / basically its just a bit faster compared to running the existing one, and this one also triggers gmod_tests to run afterwards for the given branch. |
