The difficulties in setting an optimized price could be due to the following factors: global competition, time-consuming cost estimation process, informed consumers and low-cost disruptions. The traditional rule-based pricing system is suffering from time-consuming manual pricing and relies on rule-based expertise, also such a method may also be inefficient due to frequent adjustments to the product design.
