Hello,
Actually, I think it's not really interesting to use GnuPlot just for drawing arcs, don't you?
For instance, PHP official documentation of imagefilledarc() shows an example for pies in pure PHP

What I mean is that you can do the very same thing without worrying of having gnuplot executed and all these quite strange commands, so gnuplot seems quite an overhead for this purpose
