*I'm not sure these changes got recorded as a branch (I swear I clicked the right button!). I'm so sorry if it didn't come through alright or if there are now a bunch of commits in the system.
I learned a lot from this article and found it very helpful. I made a few edits, streamlined the article some, and adapted it for a web audience. Please feel free to adopt whatever changes you think appropriate.
