The purpose of the ICC is to promote the use and adoption of open, vendor-neutral, cross-platform color management systems
The intent of the ICC profile format is to provide a cross-platform device profile format. Device profiles can be used to translate color data created on one device into another device's native color space.
The ICC is actively working to make the ICC specification more useful to the various constituencies that have adopted ICC workflows. Below is a list of current working groups, and more information about each group and its charter. If you have any questions about the work of the ICC, or wish to join the ICC to work on these issues, please contact the ICC.

The International Color Consortium (ICC) takes security very seriously. We strive to design secure software and utilize continuous integration and code analysis tools to help identify potential vulnerabilities. Users should exercise caution when working with untrusted data (configuration files, LUTs, etc.).
ICC specifications are widely incorporated into color management systems of commercial companies. If you discover a vulnerability in a system that implements ICC specifications, it is recommended that you report the issue directly to the vendor responsible for that software. ICC does not have direct control over third-party implementations but encourages responsible disclosure to ensure security throughout the ecosystem.
The International Color Consortium (ICC) takes security very seriously. We appreciate your efforts to responsibly disclose your findings and will make every effort to acknowledge your contributions.
To report a security issue, please use the GitHub Security Advisory's "Report a Vulnerability" tab for the specific ICC software project.
The ICC will respond with the next steps in handling your report. After the initial reply to your report, the security team will keep you informed of the progress toward a fix and full announcement and may ask for additional information or guidance.
In the interest of protecting the community from potential security problems with ICC profiles, all interested parties are encouraged to send security issues and example profiles to the ICC Technical Secretary.
