Stage 3 - Modelling Setup

Both previous stage's 1 and 2 must have been followed for you to carry on.



Step 1

  • Create Texture Using the button in the bottom left click Create Texture:

  • Fill in the form, you can use any name and keep the folder name blank:

  • The resolution must be the same as what you put in the new project form in this case I'm using 128x128 so my resolution for this texture is 128:

  • Click the save button next to the new texture you just made so it doesn't get lost.

SaveUV




Step 2 (THIS STEP IS VITAL, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION)

  • Next we need to create the actual model !
  • First lets create the folder where we put all our cubes.
  • Head down to the button to Add Group:

NewCubeFolder

  • It will give it a default name of bone this MUST be renamed to head (right click to show list of actions):

RenameCubeFolder


That's all for Stage 3 you can now head over to Stage 4
