Creating a post or custom post type
The News site is populated by 5 distinct post types: News and Events posts; and Bibliotech, Link, and Spotlight custom-post-types.
Because there are multiple steps - and options - to creating any of the posts mentioned above, we will break them all down into easy-to-follow sections of screenshots and instructions.
After logging in, hover over New in the admin bar as seen in the screenshot below and select Post.
This will, of course, bring you to the WP Dashboard as seen in the screenshot below.
