thank you for the contribution. I'm going to take some of this into the code and some I'm going to leave out. the size check and gpt creation will come in, very good suggestion. the partition clearing and formatting are done in a different step. Partitions are not created in all use cases of formatusb, so the format and partition marking steps are generalized elsewhere. |

Nowadays, large > 2TB hard disks are getting more popular for data storage . If such a device is plugged in and we try to format it with MX formatusb, it may give rise to errors / inability to use its full capacity.
