If you discover a security vulnerability in NetSpear, **do not open a public issue**.
Security vulnerabilities must be reported privately to protect users and prevent exploitation.

When submitting a report, please include:
- A clear and detailed description of the vulnerability
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- The potential impact if exploited
- Any logs, screenshots, or proof-of-concept details (remove sensitive data)
- Your testing environment:
- OS version
- Python version
- NetSpear version
- Installed tools (Nmap, Hydra, Metasploit, etc.)
You can expect the following from us:
- Acknowledgment of your report within **48 hours**
- Private investigation into the issue
- Regular updates during remediation
- Optional public credit for responsible disclosure

Do not use NetSpear or any of its modules on systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test. Unauthorized testing may violate laws and regulations.
