Install Eclipse

Download and install Eclipse. (Tested with Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers)

Install MetaEdit+

Download and install MetaEdit+ 5.5. (5.1 and 5.0 will also work; 4.5 supports only basic plugin functionality.)

Install the plugin

There are two alternative ways of installing the plugin:

Install the plugin from Eclipse Marketplace: Open Eclipse and choose Help | Eclipse Marketplace, and search for MetaEdit+.
Download the plugin as a single JAR file from here. Place it in the plugins folder under your Eclipse installation folder.
