openyida is your personal AI assistant designed to help with daily tasks. It runs on Windows and offers a simple interface to interact with the YiDA AI. You do not need any programming skills to use it.
This guide will help you download, install, and run openyida on your Windows computer step-by-step.
Before you install openyida, make sure your computer meets these requirements:
- Windows 10 or later (64-bit version recommended)
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 500 MB free disk space
- Internet connection for some features
- A modern processor (Intel i3 or equivalent)

Find the latest stable release. It usually appears at the top of the list.

Look for a Windows installer file. It will have an
.exeextension and usually include "Windows" or "win" in the name. -
Click the
.exefile name to start the download.
After the download finishes, follow these steps:

Navigate to your download folder using File Explorer.

Find the openyida
.exefile you downloaded. -
Double-click the file. This starts the installation setup.

You may see a security prompt. Click Run or Yes to continue.

Follow the on-screen instructions in the installation wizard:
- Choose the installation folder or accept the default.
- Select whether to create a desktop shortcut.
- Wait while the software installs.

When the installation completes, click Finish to exit.

If you created a desktop shortcut, double-click it to start openyida.

If you did not, press the Windows key and type "openyida". Select the app from the list.

The AI assistant window opens. It may take a few seconds to load.

When ready, you will see a simple text box or microphone icon where you can type or speak commands.

Start by typing questions or requests, like "What is the weather today?" or "Set a reminder for 3 PM".

Speak to openyida by clicking the microphone icon if you prefer voice commands.

If openyida doesn’t start, try restarting your computer.
