Getting a Nantes Université online account

As a member of Naomod, you are usually member of the Laboratoire des Sciences du Numérique de Nantes (LS2N). For its internal online services (such as the LS2N wiki or the LS2N room reservation system), the LS2N relies on online facilities provided by Nantes Université (NU), which all require a Nantes Université online account. Accordingly, the LS2N can create Nantes Université online accounts for all its members.

Faculté des Sciences et Techniques (FST)

Part of the team activity takes place at the Faculté des Sciences et Techniques (FST) on the Lombarderie Campus of Nantes Université.

CROUS cafeteria for lunch breaks

The Lombarderie CROUS cafeteria is the easiest option to have lunch at the FST.

• You pay a single price (~9€ for external people, 7.50€ for university employees, and 3.30€ for students), which gives you starter + main course + dessert. Note that the price does not change if you choose to not take a starter and/or a dessert.

• When entering the building, you can either follow the student line (left when entering the building), which has more meal choices but usually a longer queue, or the employee side (right when entering the building), with lesser meal choices but a shorter queue.

You can pay either with your credit card (but force you to pay the "external people" price), or with an izly account associated with a CROUS-compatible card.

Obtaining an izly account

• If you are a Nantes Université employee or student, you should have an izly account already attached to your university card. If you do not have an account, you can try to reset your account from the izly web page, or try to ask for help at the reception desk at the first floor of the Lombarderie CROUS cafeteria.

• If you are from IMT-A, you should be able to activate an Izly account by ticking a checkbox in the pairuc interface like so:

  

  You should then eventually receive an email from Izly (may take up to 24h) to create your account, and you should then be able to pay in any CROUS cafeteria using your IMT-A access card (with the student price if you are a student).

  Tip	If this does not work, in last resort you can follow the last case below.

• If you are not from Nantes University or IMT-A, two possibilities:

  • If you are a student, then you need to ask your school administration for a document that proves that you are indeed a registered student in your school. Then you can go at the reception desk at the first floor of the Lombarderie CROUS cafeteria, show your document and ask either to activate your IMT-A card with a new izly student account, or if this does not work ask for a separate CROUS student card. Whatever the process, the most important is to make sure you are registered in the system as a 'student', to get the reduced fee!

  • If you are not a student, this is currently unclear. Probably the best is to ask for help at the reception desk at the first floor of the Lombarderie CROUS cafeteria.

Getting accesses to buildings 11 and 34

You should send an email to Laurine CRESPIN (laurine.crespin@univ-nantes.fr), give your name, affiliation and card number (visible below the barcode), and tell you need both to access buildings 11 and 34, and to access one of the offices:

• If you are a student, ask to access office 305,

• If you are not a student, ask to access office 307.
