• PyTorch 2.8 feature: Remove TypedStorage / .storage() usage; NCCL and buffers use torch.Tensor, view(-1), torch.empty; torch.load(..., weights_only=False for checkpoints; replace deprecated *Tensor / scalar_tensor style APIs.
• fix some tests
