Releases: OpenNeptune3D/OpenNept4une
v0.1.7-ZNP-K1-25.11.0-edge-6.16.12
🌊 OpenNept4une v0.1.7
Release Date: November 22, 2025
🎯 What's New
- Kernel Changes: RT (Real-Time).
- Recompiled a Real-Time kernel to address Klipper MCU failures seen in the pre-release (v0.1.6).
- New CPU affinity service: pins critical services and serial devices (ttyS*) to dedicated CPU cores to reduce latency and scheduling interference for MCU communication.
- Benefit: better determinism for Klipper host ↔ MCU communications under load.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Before You Upgrade!
- Backup your configs from Fluidd:
- printer.cfg
- usersettings.cfg
- any custom config files
- Reflash your eMMC with the v0.1.7 image.
- Restore your saved configs into Fluidd and adjust as needed.
