Welcome to imtools, a fast command-line tool for managing your images and wallpapers. This guide helps you to download and run the application easily, even if you donβt have any technical knowledge.
Before you start, ensure your system meets these requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS, or any Linux distribution.
- Storage: At least 100 MB of free disk space.
- Memory: Minimum of 4GB RAM.
- Network: An internet connection for downloading the application and any required dependencies.

Follow these steps to download and install:

- Image Sorting: Automatically organize your images using AI-powered methods via Ollama.
- Duplicate Detection: Find and eliminate duplicate images quickly and easily.
- Wallpaper Management: Conveniently download and switch wallpapers with a few commands.
After installation, you can start using imtools with simple commands.
- Windows: Press
Windows + R, typecmd, and click OK. - macOS: Press
Command + Space, typeTerminal, and hit Enter. - Linux: Open your favorite terminal.

Flatten Directories: Use the command to flatten all images in a directory:
imtools flatten --source <directory-path> -
Find Duplicates: To check for duplicate images:
imtools find-duplicates --directory <directory-path> -
Sort Images: To sort images with AI:
imtools sort --directory <directory-path> -
Download Wallpaper: To download a specific wallpaper:
imtools download-wallpaper --url <wallpaper-url>
