📌 Overview

SmartAgro is a sensor-based smart irrigation and agricultural monitoring platform developed during the Smart India Hackathon 2025 Grand Finale, where it emerged as the winning solution.

The system is designed to tackle water scarcity, inefficient irrigation practices, and lack of real-time agricultural insights, particularly in regions like Jorethang, South Sikkim. While tailored for this region, SmartAgro is scalable and adaptable for deployment across diverse agricultural environments.

The platform minimizes manual intervention by enabling real-time monitoring, intelligent irrigation insights, and cloud-based data access through a modern Android application.
